General

Yes. Mamba e-bikes are designed to comply with Australian regulations. Pedal assist is limited to 25 km/h and the throttle is limited to 6 km/h where applicable.

Do I need a licence to ride an e-bike?

No. In Australia, compliant electric bicycles can be ridden without a licence or registration.

Where are Mamba bikes designed?

Mamba bikes are designed for Australian riding conditions, including city commuting, coastal paths and recreational riding.

Are Mamba bikes suitable for hills?

Yes. The electric assist helps riders tackle hills with significantly less effort.

Can I ride in the rain?

Yes. Mamba e-bikes are designed to handle normal wet conditions, though they should not be submerged or pressure-washed.

What rider weight can the bikes support?

Most models support riders up to 120–140 kg depending on the model. Check the specification on the product page for your bike.

Battery & charging

How long does it take to charge the battery?

Most batteries charge in 4–6 hours using the supplied charger.

How long does the battery last?

Lithium batteries typically last 600–800 charge cycles, which for most riders means several years of normal use.

Can I remove the battery?

Yes. Most Mamba models feature removable batteries for convenient indoor charging.

Performance

How far can a Mamba e-bike travel on one charge?

Range depends on rider weight, terrain, assist level and conditions. Most riders can expect approximately 40–80 km per charge.

How fast do Mamba e-bikes go?

Electric assistance is limited to 25 km/h, which complies with Australian regulations.

Are the bikes difficult to ride without power?

No. Mamba bikes ride like normal bicycles. The electric assist simply adds support when pedalling.

Do the bikes arrive assembled?

Bikes arrive partially assembled. Basic setup such as installing pedals and straightening handlebars may be required.

Warranty coverage

What warranty do Mamba e-bikes come with?

Mamba e-bikes are covered by a 2-year warranty on the frame and a 1-year warranty on electronic components, including the motor, controller, display, battery and charger.

Warranty support is handled by our Australian team. Claims are submitted through our online warranty claim form.
